The book ‘War Horse’ changed my mind on horses and war because now I think horses are really strong and capable of doing the things that need doing. War is not easy and not something to joke about

A book that has definitely changed me must be the famous ‘ Boy In Striped Pyjamas’. This is because it showed me how jews were treated in WW2. It made me feel bad for all those who were included in the horrible event of the Holocasut.

A book that impacted on me is’Boy’ as it made me grateful that I didn’t go to school back in the time of that book. The book takes you to Norway which I found really interesting. The book has many very funny parts.

A book that has influenced me is called ‘Journey to Jo’burg’. I read it a few years ago and I still remember it today. I think it is a very good book and it had a big impact on me. The book showed me how to be resilient and never give up no matter what is in your way. The book displays great courage as the characters are children and they meet racist people on the way and they have the courage to stand up against them.

A book that has made me question myself is ‘Heartstopper’ because its about a boy who is gay’ and likes someone and confesses it to the person who doesn’t know what to say, but then starts to question himself about whether he likes men or women. He came to the conclusion that he likes both, so he is bisexual. It made me question what I am. Another part of the book  is where Nick is scared to tell his parents that he is bi. This situation can happen to anyone who is part of the LGBTQ community and they would be put under a lot of stress. There’s one of them who has an eating disorder and Nick tries to help. The book shows gay people to be as helpful and kind as anyone

A book that has changed my perspective is ‘Paper Butterflies’ . It has taught me that people aren’t born to be bad and that something may have happened in their past. It also taught me that just because life isn’t going your way and you think no one loves you, that there will always be that one person who will care for you and respect you. It also  teaches you not to give up and keep trying to get to where you want to be in life without letting unnecessary and unmeaningful people pull you down with them.

A book that has changed my perspective is ‘Solitaire’. This book just shows how someone might be struggling in silence or even out loud and people just judge one another. This book just shows that it’s ok to suffer and struggle, however it’s also does help to let out all the negative emotions. We should try not to mislook and judge someone as this can affect relationships.

A book that has changed my perspective is  Heartstopper’. This is based on real life events and two boys who are part of the LGBTQ community and are in love with one another. On the inside both experience trauma, anxiety and depression. This shows the so many things going on , on the inside. In the end close relationships save the day.

A book that has meant something to me is ‘It ends With Us’. This book taught me that giving someone a second chance isn’t always the best idea even it seems like this.No matter how much someone seems like they have changed , they may not have. This book taught me that if someone isn’t giving you respect , you shouldn’t give them a second chance.
